ANTHRO TOURS

Welcome to
A New Way to Travel

The Anthro Tours Difference

Make the Strange Familiar & the Familiar Strange

A core aspect of modern anthropology is the concept of cultural relativity which describes our mission to see the world from the complex and diverse points-of-view the world and its history has to share. By learning to see the world through each others eyes, we can learn to empathize with each other and make the world a better place.

When you travel with Anthro Tours, you'll learn to see the world from the points-of-view of the peoples and cultures we visit from the Ancient Bronze Age Minoans to contemporary Dominican merengue dancers; then return home having seen the world from a new perspective.

And that's the Anthro Tours Difference.

Give Back

Exploration Without Exploitation

Tourism has the opportunity to benefit local communities across the globe- whether through maintaining important historical sites, preserving essential cultural identities, or preserving local languages; but over-tourism and corporate greed can destroy communities and make it impossible for locals to live comfortably.

Our goal is to promote small businesses that are locally owned and to visit locations off the traditional backpacking paths to explore lesser-known locations, and support the communities we visit along the way.
