Second Great Dwarf War 3942
To break the Mujikan aerial assaults against their cities, the Spessartites dispatched rocs- giant eagles- to lay waste to the cities along the Jabalina-Mujika border. The ploy worked and Mujikan dragons and wyverns pulled back to the continent to defend their cities. The Spessartite eagles, pegasi, and rocs continued to harass continental cities throughout the year.
Meanwhile in the Ocean of Peace, the Richu Elf naval expansion ended in the Battle of the Middle Island where Larrunana navies employed pegasi from naval stables. Larrunana and Spessartite navies halted the Richu advance and crippled the elves' war effort.
On the Eastern front in Zezen, the Mujikans pushed forward with their invasion of the Otvud Union with their sights set on the industrial city of Acel- named for the steward of the Otvud Union. Millions of dwarves launched their attacks on the city which at the time was defended only by a small force of gnomes. The Otvud Union scrambled to throw every dwarf and elf in their nation at the incoming dwarves.
To the south, Larrunana marines landed on the beaches of the Islands of Wisdom and brawled with the Richu Elves there over control of the dragon nest which allowed the Richu Empire to dispatch dragons across a vast stretch of ocean. After intense fighting in the jungles of the islands, the Larrunana marines slowly forces the Richu Elves off of the first island and destroyed the dragon nest.
In Northern Aliaanza'nchi, the Txahal and Mujikan armies continued their campaigns to capture the northern corners of the continent. In the heart of Northern Aliaanza'nchi, the Spessartite armies launched waves at their enemies in an attempt to slow their advance through the continent- but to no avail. In the Northwest, Larrunana infantry landed on the shores of the occupied territory and coordinated their attack with Jabalina saboteurs to successfully liberate the colony. With the new troops in the West, the allied forces of Larrunana and Labana (the Spessartites) forced the Txahal and Mujikan dwarves into retreat. Allied forces in Northern Aliaanza'nchi rode swift across the Northern Desert in pursuit in an attempt to cut off their enemies' retreat.
In Eastern Zezen, by late Autumn, the Mujikan siege of the Otvud namesake city broke. Otvud armies surrounded the Mujikans and their eagles and pegasi began hammering their enemies from the air. The gnomes began employing fire drakes and war elephants in the field, and expert rangers drawn from the Otvud countryside reinforced the besieged of the city. In a stroke of luck, Winter weather arrived early in the region and Mujikan forced began to succumb to not only the armed forces of the Otvud Union- but to the combined forces of nature itself.
The combined advances of the Mujikans, Txahal, and Richu ended in 3942. The stage was set for the allied armies of the Shi Elves; Otvud Gnomes; and Larrunana, Labana, and Jabalina Dwarves to launch their counter-attacks and combat the forces which had nearly conquered the realm.
