Nyeusi

The party sold their camels in the Miseer capital and bought tickets for a ferry up the Miseer River to Nyeusi where they hoped to find the Bow of Kipinga. Their plan would be to use the bow's power to harness pure solar radiation as a saving throw to revive White Knight back to full health.

Before boarding the ferry, Namiri managed to tame a wild flamingo, so the group and their new pet traveled south- along the way, watching the wildlife of the country around them.

When the party neared Nyeusi after six days on the ferry, the boat's captain warned the party they would be entering a war zone as Nyeusi's civil war had made the entire country a wasteland of sand and blood. When the party docked at Shina- Nyeusi's northernmost town- the captain dropped the members off and quickly returned to the water to return to the more stable Miseer.

The party found the town to be a hellscape where most homes were either partially or entirely destroyed by war, dead bodies littered the streets, and the victims of soul-eaters wandered aimlessly throughout the town.

The party found a local priest who bore the mark of the Hubbad- the first paladin order of the realm- who told the group of the passing of the Hubbad and the descent into darkness that befell Nyeusi after the Second Great Dwarf War. In his temple, the priest told the party an evil being and his vampires overthrew the nation's steward and now rule the nation.

The party learned from the priest that this evil being possessed the Bow of Kipinga, and so they ignored the priest's warnings, purchased camels, and headed south towards the capital city Kuni. Along the journey south, the party encountered several erie visions. On the first night, Namiri witnessed a group of vampires across the river massacring a small village- but withheld his vision from the group. Later, the party crossed a shrouded child whose statuesque stance left chills down their spines.

Finally, one morning, the group awoke to find Toa had disappeared in the night. The half-demon had been kidnapped by the new steward's secret police. In the morning, these guards arrived to summon the rest of the party to the steward's palace in the capital.

When the group was reunited, the steward's guards stripped the heroes of weapons and armor and chained them to a wall before revealing himself to be the primordial Hutumia. The primordial asked for the group's help defeating the Three Demons because they were trying to kill all mortal beings and Hutumia needed the mortals alive as a reliable food source.

The party begrudgingly agreed to help the primordial after he told them he was prepared to give them the Bow of Kipinga. Three of the primordial's top guards revealed to the group a sword, belt, and volcanic stone. Hutumia told the group the secret history of the bombing of Shi which ended the Second Great Dwarf War.

White Knight- working for the Larrunana Republic- opened (not destroyed) the Three Weapons over the Shi Empire. He then took the shells of the weapons to three heavily guarded locations around the realm to prevent anyone from finding them. Hutumia's forces located the items and brought them to Nyeusi for safe keeping.

Hutumia was also prepared to give the group the Three Weapons in exchange for a test of strength. If the party could defeat a witch haunting the riverbank, they could have all three weapons and the bow. The party agreed to the primordial's terms and departed for the river.

There, the party found the witch and attacked her with full strength- using fire, arcana, and weaponry- but nothing seemed to do damage. While holding the witch under the waters of the river, they realized the being was in fact the primordial Hantu and that no weapon in their possession would defeat her.

Toa prayed to Death for help and the angel appeared in anger. Toa's strong hatred for her creator's abandonment of the realm caused a rift between the two in negotiations for help, but the rest of the party calmed the two down and bartered for Death's assistance. Death removed a harmonica from her pocket and began to play- sucking the primordial into the instrument. The angel then told the party it would be the last time she helps them before disappearing.

Hutumia kept his word and gave the bow and the Three Weapons to the party, but with a final stipulation- that after they defeat the Three Demons, they would need to return the Three Weapons. He told the party mortals were responsible for the release of the demons and that only under his personal protection would the Three Weapons be safe.

The party agreed, but they asked for the details of hot Hutumia actually got the weapons in the first place. He told them about his three vampiric henchmen- a half-orc, an elf, and a half-elf- who tracked the location of the items to Northern Hattun, Southwest Si, and Southeast Si. His henchmen simply killed all of the soldiers guarding the weapons and brought them to Hutumia.

Hutumia then told the party they would need to go to Kuchoma- the nation to the southeast of Nyeusi where- in a temple- they would find texts which tell the party how to activate the weapons. The party loaded up their camels and traveled south towards Kuchoma.
