Great Dwarf War 3945

At the start of 3945, the besieged dwarves of the Larrunana Army on the Olatuak-Mujikan border sent word to the Mujikans they intended to fight to the death to defend their position. Less than a week later, the Larrunana Army started their counterattack and destroyed the Mujikan's last offensive operation of the war. Meanwhile in Pokok, Larrunana infantry and marines pushed further against the defending Richu Elves and gained a substantial victory there.

In Central Zezen, the Otvud Union pushed deep into Mujikan held territory and entered Mujikan lands in mid-winter. With the gnome armies nearing the Mujikan capital, the Mujikan vampire warlord entered his crypt under the capital where he would eventually commit suicide before the end of the war. Meanwhile, the Mujikan vampire anti-paladins began evacuating the extermination camps built to destroy the Coastal Half-Elves on the continent and killed tens of thousands on their way out.

Near the end of winter, Larrunana Dwarves and Pokok Fairies entered the outskirts of the occupied Pokok capital and began their siege against the Richu Elves. They combined force captured the city after two weeks of skirmishes. Larrunana Marines simultaniously landed on Sulfer Island close to the Richu homelands and began their long battle with the deeply entrenched Richu Elves there. In Northern Txahal, half-orc infantry from Hattun began an offensive at the foot of the Alpine Mountains to dislodge the entrenched Mujikan Army.

When spring began, the allied forces pushed further against the axis armies. In the Sword Drop Isles, the Larrunana Marines landed and met stiff resistance against the Richu Elves now fighting on their own soil. The Otvud Army entered Mujikan lands and began laying siege to outlying cities east of the Mujikan capital.

Surprise came when the Larrunana died from his life-long illness paused by his temporary control of the Pumice Stone. The new Larrunana steward took over immediately and began laying the groundwork for the last offensive operations of the war.

Completely surrounded and without hope for victory, the Mujikan armies on the front lines of the war began surrendering en-masse to the allied forces. The Txahal warlord who had escaped capture after losing the Ancient Blade ran out of luck when pro-Allied Txahal dwarves captured him and executed him in a public spectacle. In mid-Spring, the vampiring Mujikan warlord committed suicide by firing a silver-tipped bolt from a crossbow into his head. The Mujikan high command surrendered to the allies and the war in Zezen was over.

In summer, Larrunana troops finally liberated the Northern Fairy Islands and captured both the Sword Drop Isles and Sulfer Isle from the Richu Elves. But a full-scale invasion of the Richu homelands would be costly and time-consuming. With no end to the war in the Ocean of Peace in sight, the Larrunana steward decided to use his ultimate weapon. Combining the three anti-demon weapons under his nation's control, the Larrunana steward dispatched the order to destroy the prisons over the skies of the Richu Islands and unleash the might of the three demons on his enemies.

After unloading the cargo to be dropped via rocs over the skies of the Eastern Islands, the ship which carried the anti-demon weapons became the target of a water drake raid. The ship's crew and three League heroes tasked with preventing the weapon's use spent the next two weeks adrift at sea. They suffered shark attacks, sea storms, and malnutrition before finally being rescued.

Meanwhile, Larrunana air forces dropped the three weapons over the skies of the Richu Islands. The power of the three demons was unleashed and the Richu surrendered almost immediately. The war was over, but while the Larrunanans celebrated their victory; the three demons returned to the realm and brought their influence of evil back to the realm.
